Everything you agreed to,in one place.

These terms apply to quantumnotary.app, the notarization and verification service behind it, and any account you open on it. They cover both routes in: an account, and guest checkout without one.

Quantum Notary is a product operated by Endurance Applications, which is the name that appears on your card statement.

You choose a file, and your browser computes its SHA-256 fingerprint on your device. The service signs and submits a public Base transaction carrying that fingerprint, and issues a receipt for it. We do not receive, read, or store the file itself.

A public digest is not encryption or automatic anonymization. Someone who can predict the source can hash guesses and compare them with the public fingerprint.

A digest anchor and service receipt do not check identity, witness a signature, establish authorship or ownership, prove that content is true, or perform a legal notarial act. A successful Base L2 receipt is not Ethereum L1 settlement monitoring.

Keep the exact source bytes and receipt because later comparison depends on both.

Keep API keys, session tokens, and guest receipt links private. Do not commit API keys to version control. If a credential is compromised, contact support@quantumnotary.app so we can revoke it.

Notarization credits are bought in packs and drawn down per anchored record. Payment is processed by Stripe; card details never reach us.

Credit packs are prepaid. There is no self-serve refund: write to support@quantumnotary.app and we will decide the request and, if we agree, issue it through Stripe. When a refund or a card dispute reaches us, we withdraw credits from that purchase in proportion to the amount reversed, up to the number still unspent in the pool it was bought for. Credits you have already spent are not clawed back and your balance is never driven below zero; we record the shortfall instead. If a notarization fails before its Base transaction is broadcast, its credit is returned; where the evidence cannot establish that, the case is held for review rather than settled automatically. A refund does not withdraw an anchored record from Base — no mechanism exists by which we could withdraw one.

When available, the public guest offer covers one SHA-256 digest computed in your browser and anchored on Base L2. We may require a CAPTCHA. You may provide a recovery email, which may be shared with Stripe and used for receipt and refund notification delivery. We refund orders that definitively fail. We reconcile any ambiguous order or potentially broadcast Base transaction before deciding whether a refund is due.

This is a single service with no availability commitment attached to it. Planned maintenance is posted ahead of time where it is known in advance.

Guest receipt URLs are unguessable bearer links. They expire one year after purchase. Expiry disables the link only. It does not delete associated records or affect the public Base transaction.

Every proof can be checked against the public Base chain with no dependency on our API; the procedure is published at /verify-without-us. That commitment is about the chain, not about our uptime.

You retain ownership of the content you notarize. We own the service, site, and marks. You grant us only the rights needed to process requests and create and store records.

The service is provided as-is. We do not warrant that a proof will be accepted by any particular court, registry, or counterparty. Acceptance is always the evaluator's decision.

Our liability is capped at fees paid in the prior twelve months, except where law says otherwise. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You can close your account any time. We can terminate for material breach with 14 days' notice. Closing an account does not remove an existing Base transaction. Later verification still requires retained input, the processing rule, the receipt, and suitable historical chain access.

We provide reasonable notice of material changes to the email address on your account before they take effect. The date at the top of this document shows when it was last updated. We do not maintain a version archive.

The operating entity's registration is in progress, so these terms do not yet name a governing jurisdiction. Until then, contact support@quantumnotary.app about disputes.
