What the service may not be used for, and the honest limits of enforcing that.
§ 01
What this covers
This policy applies to all use of Quantum Notary, including anchoring and verification through an account or guest checkout.
§ 02
We cannot see what you anchor
We receive a SHA-256 fingerprint, not file content. We cannot inspect or screen the file. We investigate reported violations and can act on the associated account, not an on-chain record.
§ 03
What you must not anchor
Do not use the service for unlawful activity or to anchor content that infringes rights, defames, launders funds, or facilitates fraud. Only notarize content you have the right to use.
§ 04
What you must not do to the service
Do not compromise our systems, relayer accounts, or other tenants' data. Do not bypass guest limits, share credentials, or present the service as a legal notary.
§ 05
What happens if you break it
We may warn, suspend, or terminate an account based on severity. These actions do not remove an on-chain record.
§ 06
Reporting abuse
To report abuse, contact support@quantumnotary.app and include the record ID or transaction hash. We can investigate the associated account.

Because files stay on your device, we cannot review them before notarization. Report suspected misuse with the record ID or transaction hash.
