Prove your image existed by a date you can point to.
A near-identical shot turns up in someone else’s campaign, or a client says the shoot was delivered late. Hash the exact file in your browser before you send it, and keep both. It shows that image existed by that date; whether you created it is a separate question, answered by your raw files and your delivery emails.
The dated record sits in Base’s public transaction history, which we cannot edit and cannot take back if you stop being a customer. Keep the delivered file and the receipt; those are the two things only you can hold.

Built for content creators workflows.
Pre-publication version
Keep the exact source file and receipt so that version can be compared with its Base transaction later.
Collaborator handoff
Record a digest checkpoint before sharing a draft while using separate controls for identity, access, and agreements.
Portfolio history
Maintain checkpoints for selected portfolio versions without treating a digest match as authorship or ownership evidence by itself.
▸ FAQ
Common questions, answered plainly.
Does this prove I created the image?
No. It shows this exact image file existed by this date. Whether you created it is a separate question, answered with your raw files, your camera records and your delivery emails.
Will it stop people using my photos?
No. It does not prevent copying and it adds nothing to the file. What it gives you is a dated record of the exact file — the thing you usually lack at the moment you make the complaint.
Someone posted it before me. Does this settle it?
It shows your file existed by your date. If they recorded earlier, theirs shows the same for them. It orders two records; it does not decide a claim.
Do I need an account?
Not to check a file or use the one-file guest offer when it is available. The verify page is public — no sign-in, nothing to install — and the public notarize page can send one browser-computed digest to checkout without an account. An account opens the signed-in console once you have verified your email address.
